If you look around online, some of the most popular environmental related blogs are very scientific, like treehugger dot com. They touch on a lot of highly scientific topics pertaining to this topic and I think that it’s great that there are resources out there where you can go and learn about the science behind why protecting the world that we live in is a good thing.

Remember Acid Rain?

Seems like a strange way to start a post doesn’t it? I was just reading the extremely vintage 50 Things Kids Can do to Save the Earth. I read it back when I was a kid and the first chapter inspired my middle school science project – Acid Rain. What happened to it? All we hear about now is global warming and “going green” – which I’ve come to look at as the current trends in environmental stewardship.
